The morning brought us past a coastline with several wind turbines. They are far more common in other parts of Scandinavia. Norway gets most of it's electricity from hydro-electric, which makes a ton of sense given how much water they have over here.
The Norwegian Coast Guard ran an exercise on the back of the ship landing a crew of 6 people. And I said there wasn't entertainment on board.
Early afternoon brought us to the city of Hammerfest. Tina and I strolled through the town, enjoyed a lot of the sights, found a local pub and enjoyed discussions with some of the locals.

Our Ship Patiently Waiting for Us |
The afternoon and evening brought more tremendous scenes from the Norwegian coast.
These ones were particularly relevant to us since what you're looking at is the east side of the glacier that Tina and I tried to hike to on day 4. We didn't get any closer this time either. :)
Finally at just before midnight we did a tour to a church in Tromso which was specifically built for it's acoustics. Every night a midnight they do a 45 minute concert for the cruise ship passengers. The night we went the concert was performed only by an keyboard player (pipe organ and piano), a baritone sax player, and a baritone singer. It was just mind blowing sounds from 3 musicians doing Norwegian and local folk songs.
OK ... trying to catch up, so gotta keep moving.
