Saint Johns - Day 2 - Lind Point Trail

After a somewhat lazy morning we finally got out on the Lind Point Trail which leaves from the side of Cruz Bay at about 9:30.

There's 2 parts to the trail ... an upper trail and lower trail.  We decided to do the climbing on the way out and do the upper trail and the lower trail closer to the beach on the way back.

The upper trail afforded up a good overlook of the bay area and waters between St. John and St. Thomas.

Throw in a few pics of good friends and couples.

The upper trail meets the beach down at Honeymoon Beach which then leads to an old sugar plantation.

On the way back we had lunch and snorkeled at Honeymoon Beach and then the lower trail on the way back brought us to Solomon Beach.

It was a beautiful day, although scorching hot, and totally exhausting for us flat-lander Floridians.  A nice dinner and evening down in Mongoose Junction led to a quiet evening right now out on the patio of the villa.  A nice evening breeze is a welcome relief from the heat of the day.

Until tomorrow, so long from the snorkeling Caribbean.
