Leaf Change - Day 13 - Off the Ship and Onto the Waterfalls

October brought us the return of beautiful fall weather as we left the ship and caught a transfer out to the airport to pick up a rental car.  After a quick lunch we headed up the Saint Lawrence River to Montmorency Falls. These spectacular falls are right next to the Saint Lawrence and offered some great hiking to get up to the top and view the falls from the suspension bridge over them.

Fall colors weren't everywhere, but we did get to enjoy some of them along with other fall foliage.

We took a trail up but were going down via the steps on the far side.

But nothing shows waterfalls better than some short video clips.

In the late afternoon we walked around more of Quebec City, including a visit to the most photographed hotel in the world, the Le Chateau Frontenac.
