Thursday continued our string of good luck pertaining to weather. Almost every day has been highs in the 60's and lows in the low 50's. Perfect fall weather.
We arrived in Portland ME where my brother, Bob, had agreed to drive over and meet us. While waiting for him Tina and I did some walking through town and came across this nice painting on the side of a building.
We also got a visit from a hungry seal hanging out around the fishing boats.
Throw in a goat and we felt we were visiting a zoo. :)
Bob arrived and tagged along with us on a tour of the city and some of it's local eating spots.
It included a local veggie and meat market with a great fall time display out front.
And also a visit to the local seafood market ... with a ton of the freshest seafood possible.
We managed to hang out together for the better part of 5 hours before Tina and I headed back to the ship.
Then we were off, saying goodbye to Portland and it's lighthouse.
Until the next post, keep your friends and relatives waving.
