New England - Day 2 - The Lobster Cruise Begins

On Saturday we packed back up and headed towards the harbor area to catch our ship.  The whole ship only hosts 100 guests and fortunately it travels a course which doesn't expose us to any significant ocean waves.

By early afternoon we were saying goodbye to Providence and headed out toward New Bedford, MA.

It was a 7 hour ride down to our destination during which we ate supper, which consisted of a classic New England seafood pot of lobster, shrimp, clams, corn on the cob, and potatoes.  There's a good reason they call it a lobster cruise.

On the way down we passed several beautiful shorelines and a couple of unique lighthouses.  Lighthouses were always Tina's Dad's favorite things, so in memory of him and tomorrow being Fathers day I'll post these.

So to my Dad and to Dads everybody, I bid you a happy day tomorrow.
