Saturday was a bit of a slow day ... thank goodness. We left the ship at 8:30 and took a bus to the Providence Airport where the other 6 Melbournites caught planes back to southern destinations. Meanwhile Tina and I picked up a rental car and headed back to Newport and a B&B we booked for the week.
The cemetery down the road had graves dating back to the early 1600's.
And Tina and I finally found our souvenir for the vacation. This is an actual Sperm Whale tooth which an artist turned into a Scrimwhaw art piece back in 1970. You can only get whale teeth anymore as an inheritance ... or illegaly. Anyway we were pretty happy to get this legally.
Until tomorrow, keep smiling.
