Monday was an early morning with a great breakfast and some fun watching the deer in the fields around the cabin.
The hike at Zion was going to be through an area known as the Narrows. This hike is simply unbelievable. Before you head up you rent water boots and neoprene socks for your feet and a long wooden walking pole. The hike is through a narrow canyon with tall cliffs on either side. The Virgin River runs through the canyon and for most of the hike you're hiking through the river bed. At 63⁰ F I thought it would be cold, but the neoprene socks keeps your feet plenty warm.
Unfortunately, I was way to nervous about carrying a camera into this hike so we relied on Sarah to take some go pro pics to post here.
So until the next post, keep the fish out of your shoes.
