Canyon Trip - Day 8 - Four Corners and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area

September 16th was a long driving day starting out just outside of Canyonlands and making our way to Page AZ where the dam that forms Lake Powell is located.  At least if you're going to drive you might as well enjoy the scenery.

We did a quick diversion along the way and visited the four corners monument formed at the mutual corners of southwestern corner of Colorado, southeastern corner of Utah, northeastern corner of Arizona, and northwestern corner of New Mexico.

Then it was off to cover Arizona.  Cell phones get very confused about time here since most of Arizona doesn't do daylight savings time except for the Navajo Indian Reservation which do.  We were going back and forth between the two. 

That evening we did a short guided tour up to Hanging Garden in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area.
