Canyon Trip - Day 7 - Arches and Canyonland National Parks

The last 2 of the mighty five were knocked off on Thursday September 15.  First up was sunrise at Arches National Park.  There is one arch (Mesa Arch) in particular that is famous for it's sunrise scene.  It was a bit chilly on this particular morning.

It was too crowded to try to get sunrise through the arch so I just did it from the side.

This was why I didn't go for the arch view.

Coming back down after the sunrise.

Then it was over to an adjacent state park (not part of the mighty 5).

Finally in the afternoon we made it over to Canyonland.  We were going to do a hike to Delicate Arch but Tina wasn't feeling up to it.  So Fred, Gwen, and Sarah went it alone and Tina and I drove around the rest of the park.

After a long day we had a fantastic dinner at a restaurant which overlooked the town we were staying in.

Until next time, keep those legs a walking.
